Hi Rainer: Although I have not had a chance to look at your changes, we have made similar changes to the IBM Transarc version of AFS and we are testing these changes now.
The fileserver can now handle more more calls from the volserver by changing the fssync interface. We are about to release this version to some of our customers that had reported this problem.
