I've checked google, and a bunch openafs mailing list archives, and have read dozens and dozens of afs + krb messages: you need krb5 + aklog.exe + openafs.
I have found krb5 (without aklog), openafs (both the 1.2.2b and a 1.2.6 .exe from the mailing list) and even aklog.exe from the military (http://kirby.hpcmp.hpc.mil/). I don't have access to IBM's AFS, as this is a new install. Is it possible to still get transarc afs? Unix (openbsd, solaris 9, debian) all work 100% (openbsd can't authenticate with arla, but I don't really care right now). I can get a ticket easily in windows, and I can get the OpenAFS_Client_126.exe installed and working with an afs cell, but I cannot authenticate. aklog tells me that it's missing afsauthen.dll. OpenAFS_Client_126.exe on w2k will give me the ability to access system:anyuser files as expected without authentication, but 1.2.2b on win98se won't even give me that. So... From all that information, all I ask is one question: Where does one actually find all the required files to get krb5 + openafs on windows? There has got to be someone who has this available? Someone has got to have used krb5 + windows before. How? Am I stuck trying to find a C compiler and going from source? -- Brent Graveland [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-info mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-info
