We are running 1.2.8 on kernel 2.4.19-SGI_XFS_1.2.0 without any problem. But for some reason (particular hardware) we also have to use another XFS-enabled kernel that SGI supplies, namely 2.4.18-18SGI_XFS_1.2.0.
OpenAFS 1.2.8 compiles well for this kernel, but then libafs module refuses to work (at an attempted insmod it hangs forever in the "initializing" state). Q: is there any living soul who managed to make OpenAFS 1.2.8 working with 2.4.18-18SGI_XFS_1.2.0?
