Thank you for your answer. Copying whole /var/chroot/sshd into AFS is agood idea. I will use it. However, it doesn't solve my problem. I didn't mention, I need write access into AFS from inside the chroot. So I need to run kinit and aklog which requires afsd running there. And, of course I need write access to AFS in the "normal" root too.

No problem, once you get a token you can write to AFS. I boot machines from a kernel inside AFS and then chroot to AFS. Works fine. Setup chroot in afs, mount your root.afs and put all binaries and libraries that you need into AFS. Your afsd will work fine from chrooted environment.

How do you deal with entries in /dev such as zero, random, urandom and the ttys ?

Regards,

Nick.
