I grepped the sources for "Wrong type" and got nothing. Possibly Win is inserting the message and kaserver says "fine. Here's your token anyway"..?

ICMP is not involved. I'm using kaserver. ... Port 88 should probably actually be called "kerberos". It's used for both k4 and k5, and as it happens kaserver services k4 requests on both port 88 and 750 (as well as for rx on port 7004). I'm not sure where that error message comes from -- I believe kaserver should say "packet version number unknown". Might be nice to know more about how that message was generated or recorded. -Marcus Watts UM ITCS Umich Systems Group _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-info mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-info _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-info mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-info
