Hi Dave, I don't mind at all.
As root, from the command line, run: # /usr/afs/bin/salvager -showmounts to get a list of mount points in the SalvageLog for the server you're running the command on. Example: [EMAIL PROTECTED] movies]# time /usr/afs/bin/salvager -showmounts real 0m11.824s user 0m0.190s sys 0m1.000s [EMAIL PROTECTED] movies]# cd /usr/afs/logs [EMAIL PROTECTED] logs]# grep mountpoint SalvageLog 09/17/2004 11:53:06 In volume 536871302 (user.s.student0) found mountpoint ./backup to '#user.s.student0.backup.' 09/17/2004 11:53:06 In volume 536871305 (user.s.student1) found mountpoint ./backup to '#user.s.student1.backup.' 09/17/2004 11:53:06 In volume 536871308 (user.s.student2) found mountpoint ./backup to '#user.s.student2.backup.' 09/17/2004 11:53:06 In volume 536871311 (user.s.student3) found mountpoint ./backup to '#user.s.student3.backup.' 09/17/2004 11:53:06 In volume 536871314 (user.s.student4) found mountpoint ./backup to '#user.s.student4.backup.' 09/17/2004 11:53:06 In volume 536871062 (user.ccre) found mountpoint ./sw to '#sw.readonly.' 09/17/2004 11:52:57 In volume 536871093 (user.k.kim) found mountpoint ./sioz to '#satchmo.ioz.readonly.' 09/17/2004 11:52:57 In volume 536871093 (user.k.kim) found mountpoint ./backup to '#user.k.kim.backup.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870927 (user.k.kima) found mountpoint ./RBV1 to '#RBV1.vol.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870927 (user.k.kima) found mountpoint ./backup to '#user.kima.backup.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./n1 to '#sw.n1.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./g-i to '#sw.g-i.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./a-c to '#sw.a-c.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./mm to '#sw.mm.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./f2 to '#sw.f2.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./o1 to '#sw.o1.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./UnfiledDownloads to '#sw.unfileddownloads.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./e-f to '#sw.e-f.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./VirtualCDs to '#sw.virtualCds.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./macromedia to '#sw.macromedia2.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./j-k to '#sw.j-k.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./Linux to '#sw.linux.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./p1 to '#sw.p1.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./d to '#sw.d.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./l to '#sw.l.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./m to '#sw.m.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./q to '#sw.q.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./authorware to '#sw.authorware.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./r to '#sw.r.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./e2 to '#sw.e2.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./s to '#sw.s.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./t to '#sw.t.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./u to '#sw.u.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./v to '#sw.v.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./w to '#sw.w.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./x to '#sw.x.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./z to '#sw.z.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536870930 (sw) found mountpoint ./DNS/zip to '#sw.drprozip.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536871011 (afs) found mountpoint ./user to '#user.ccre.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536871011 (afs) found mountpoint ./whatDate to '#whatDate2.' 09/17/2004 11:52:56 In volume 536871011 (afs) found mountpoint ./ARLA to '#afs.ARLA.' 09/17/2004 11:52:57 In volume 536871011 (afs) found mountpoint ./BENCHMARKING/IOZONERESULTS/satchmo to '#satchmo.ioz.' 09/17/2004 11:52:57 In volume 536871011 (afs) found mountpoint ./BENCHMARKING/BONNIERESULTS/satchmo to '#satchmo.bon.' 09/17/2004 11:52:57 In volume 536871084 (windows) found mountpoint ./smartdraw to '#windows.smartdraw.' 09/17/2004 11:52:57 In volume 536871344 (group1) found mountpoint ./afs/log to '#group.afs.logs.' 09/17/2004 11:52:57 In volume 536871345 (group) found mountpoint ./afs/log to '#group.afs.logs.' The "bos salvage" command doesn't have a showmounts option, so either run /usr/afs/bin/salvager from the command line or alternatively use "bos exec" followed by "bos getlog" If you're trying to run using "bos exec" let me know -- I've got it in a script somewhere and can find the syntax for you.
