I don't like having services try to be interactive with the desktop. Therefore, you won't have a dialog.
It should not die with a page fault. Feel free to open a ticket on this issue by sending mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] describing your problem. One problem per e-mail. Each e-mail will open a new ticket in the Request Tracker.
