Greg:

What is the difference between this machine which is able to obtain tokens and the one you were discussing last week which was not able to obtain tokens because of the "Insufficent Resources" error?

However, the fact that you are able to create Kerberos 5 based tokens does not tell you anything about the ability of the AFS server's to process them. You have not successfully used the Kerberos 5 based token for communicating to an AFS Server.

I know the client supports Kerberos 5 because otherwise it would not have obtained a token using it. The question is whether your servers support it or not. 1.2.11 should accept it provided that you have the appropriate key assigned to the [EMAIL PROTECTED] principal.

ASU.EDU has been discussing problems on this mailing list with the Windows client since last December. In all of that time I do not have
any evidence that it ever worked for you. Things you need to check:

* are you able to connect to the cell without tokens?

* can you connect to other cells without tokens?

* do tokens work for you without using Kerberos 5 at all? (ie, disable KFW)

* do tokens work for you when you force the use of krb524d?

* does the use of Freelance mode make a difference in the ability to obtain tokens?
