I'm using OpenAFS 1.3.76 on Fedora Core Linux, kernel 2.6.9-1.6_FC2smp. I'm rsyncing several dozen gigabytes from the local disk into AFS, and have come across a problem. Periodically, files appear to just vanish -- they don't show up to ls, and stat also says the file isn't found, but attempting to create a new file with the same name fails with the error that the file already exists. Running fs flush on the directory holding the missing entry corrects the problem.
I've got a 2GB cache, and obviously it's getting more-than-filled as part of this file transfer. And it is an SMP system. What can I do to help further diagnose this? -- Matthew Miller [EMAIL PROTECTED] <http://www.mattdm.org/> Boston University Linux ------> <http://linux.bu.edu/> _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-info mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-info
