There is already "real" Kerberos 5 support in all versions of OpenAFS
version 1.2.8 or higher. What needs to be written for Unix is a version
of aklog which will produce tokens from Kerberos 5 afs service tickets
without the use of krb524. OpenAFS for Windows already has this support
in its current client release.

Hi!

I googled around quite a bit but I cant seem to find an answer to the following question: Is there real Kerberos V support in the planning (or maybe even in the works?). I mean with out the use krb524 daemon, but REAL Kerberos V support?

Just curious, no pressure :)
