what does the following message mean, and assuming that is part of my windows connectivity problem, what can I do about it ?
Wed Nov 17 11:52:17 2004 ProbeUuid failed for host 163.120.xx.yy:7001 (I replaced the xx and yy, The IP addr mentioned is the one of the windows xp client.)

Sorry for the long delay in answering this but I just realized you never received one from anyone.
UUIDs and the associated callback interfaces are not currently supported by the OpenAFS for Windows client. The lack of this support should not break anything. Support for UUIDs will be added in the near future.
