Not specificly. Its the same as configuring a Kerberos 5 KDC to issue AFS service tickets except you are using Active Directory as your KDC.
If you are interested in seeing the AFS Server reach production status, please contact me privately about funding.
I think the experimental version will be fine to start with. It will at least show them something. I am willing to take the risk/be a tester.
