There is a 2 line change needed in afs_osi.c (TASK_ZOMBIE) tedc -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of David Bear Sent: Thursday, April 28, 2005 11:14 AM To: openafs Subject: [OpenAFS] looking for build help on suse 9.2 I've installed the openafs 1.2.11 rpms that were bundled with suse 9.2. I am using the smp kernel. I recall a recent note that the configure script for building afs doesn't properly detect smp kernels. Perhaps that is the issue with this openafs. when I attempt to start it I get: /etc/rc.d # ./afs-client start Starting OpenAFS Client ./afs-client: line 126: [: too many arguments ./afs-client: line 128: [: too many arguments ./afs-client: line 130: [: too many arguments ./afs-client: line 132: [: too many arguments ParseCacheInfoFile: Format error in cache info file! 2 out of 3 fields successfully parsed. ./afs-client: line 195: 10989 Killed /usr/bin/fs setcrypt on failed Message from [EMAIL PROTECTED] at Thu Apr 28 11:11:37 2005 ... ppsrv11 kernel: Oops: 0002 [2] SMP ppsrv11:/etc/rc.d # Message from [EMAIL PROTECTED] at Thu Apr 28 11:11:37 2005 ... ppsrv11 kernel: CR2: 0000000000000004 Does anyone know if Suse built the rpm with the possibility of having an smp kernel running? Any advice on getting openafs client to run on suse 9.2 would be appreciated. thanks. -- David Bear phone: 480-965-8257 fax: 480-965-9189 College of Public Programs/ASU Wilson Hall 232 Tempe, AZ 85287-0803 "Beware the IP portfolio, everyone will be suspect of trespassing" _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-info mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-info _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-info mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-info
