Hello all, I managed to install OpenSSI on FC2 and want to run/install the/a OpenAFS client on that machine. However I had to install OpenSSI 1.2.2 and the OpenSSI kernel is based on 2.4.22 (so its closer to redhat 9.0 than fedora core 2.) (OpenSSI 1.2.2 is the stable version, and some network drivers had to be compiled into it for making it work on some new equipment) What would be the "best bet", install the OpenAFS client for RH9 or FC2 ?
Install whatever RPM's you can get that most closely match your distribution. You're not using the stock vendor kernel, so you're going to have to build your own libafs anyway.
