Yes, I intend to submit a detailed bug report about this as soon as I
find time. At the moment, I've got people breathing down my neck to do
something else.
Bear in mind there are so many variables involved, that the bug report
could turn into a protracted correspondence.
Are you prepared to deal with this? Hopefully the result will be better
scripts.
Yup, I'll try to deal with this. I can't guarantee a really speedy
response time, but I do have a test environment that I can start using for
things like this.
Glad to hear it. If you don't hear from me in the next week, please ping
me about it. Stuff comes up and things get buried. I think it would be
nice to contribute to Debian by idiot-proofing the Debian OpenAFS scripts
(offering myself as the idiot).
I was just looking at your blog, and it looks very nice. You should add it
to Planet Debian.
My research group (Duke University, Durham, North Carolina) is looking for
a sys admin/ software developer person to help with stuff. The group is in
the Dept of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, and specialises in
Computational Immunology. Here is a web page, http://cbcb.duke.edu/dulci/
If you know anyone who might be interested, please ask them to contact me.
Thanks.
Faheem.
