The OpenAFS for Windows AFS Servers should not be used in a production environment. They do not receive any love. If you must run an AFS server on a Windows machine, purchase VMWare and install a Linux distribution using a dedicated physical partition. Run your AFS server from within the VMWare system.
I'm sure that the Windows AFS Servers can be stablized but someone is going to have a lot of work to do to make it happen. Jeffrey Altman
