Ha ha! RC5 now works with Matthias Hensler's 2.6.13-1.1525_FC4_cubbi1_swsusp2 
kernel!  I made the module with rc5 and used everything else with rc4
because of the issue with spvrPort or whatever that won't let
the userspace part compile.
