afsd has been dying on me shortly after startup with 1.4.1-rc5. afs A
becomes unavailable, things just hang.
turns out this was mostly a server problem - the cell's server was
out to lunch.
However, afsd just died rather than, say, hanging & giving messages
like these from a linux client...

multi-homed ip addresses down for the server)

Actually on Linux it also dies, uncleanly. We were over that on the list
recently, even.
