As a user/admin of several DB apps, I have to honestly say I'm kinda sad that this won't be in 1.4.x. From a devel point of view, I can completely understand. The only question I do have is whether or not you are able to provide an estimate on when the 1.5/1.6 will be introduced with the AFS backed locks? I'm not talking "Sept. '06," but just something generic like "2Q '06" (I wish ;) The reason I ask is just because I'd like to give the powers that be an estimate on when we can store our DB app data on the fileserver - it'll just make them feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Thank you for everything that you have done so far. -Mike _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-info mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-info
