Ok.
I set the profile path to \\AFS\cgv.tugraz.at\home\userwintest\
and mounted a volume to it.
I set the ACLs for the testuser to write access and the win2003 server
to write access on that path.
Now WinXP tells me while logging in with that user: "sorry, no profile
loaded because of wrong security" - WTF?
I setup the homefolder on drive T: to
\\afs\cgv.tugraz.at\home\userwintest\homes and this is working correct.

Ok, dig a bit deeper. The folder for the profile is created while login.
But it seems as it can't write the owner to the directory to it.
And I can't change the owner as it seems.

Lars Schimmer
