Also, in step 6 of Getting Started on Linux Systems of the Quick start
Guide, it mentions to edit /etc/fstab. How do I know the disk name?
Here is what I have in /etc/fstab:
That step only for a server. You're setting up a new AFS server? (Just
checking -- if you're setting up a client, you should be skipping that
step.)
If you're setting up a server, you need to decide what disk partition that
you're going to mount as /vicepa (and friends). What the name of that
partition will be will depend a great deal on how your system is set up,
whether you're using LVM, etc.
Russ:
I am setting up a server. I have come this far and don't want to
abandon my efforts. I am familiar with /etc/fstab, but don't know what
you mean by LVM. Please elaborate to give me direction.
