Greetings, Would like to add more detail to John Boyland's post regarding our server jeremiah.
Server is Sun v20z running solaris 10 x86 (hardware mirrored local disks) connected to Sun 3510 fiber channel array (4x143 Gbyte disks RAID 5 + 1 hot spare) for /vicepa partition. Are trying to use binaries version 1.4.1 downloaded from openafs.org Here's a summary of what's been done and is happening: 1) Modified /sbin/mountall and /usr/lib/fs/afs/fsckall appropriately 2) Created fs on RAID using mkfs -F asf and additional parameters from solaris newfs -v 3) Reboot machine, vfsck (1.4.1) reports partion clean.
