i have 2 openafs servers, each of them holding a set of volumes. one of the servers (old server) has developed a hard-disk problems but i can still dump all afs volumes without triggering an error.
i have installed openafs-fileserver and openafs-dbserver on a different machine (new box), have a /vicepa partition ready, asetkey done. (no other configuration of the openafs server on the new box is in place at the moment. the question is, how do i proceed in recreating the entire openafs structure of the old server on the new server, so later i can switch off the old server, reconfigure the clients to use the new one. the old server is running debian woody, the new server is running debian sarge. the openafs packages are from official repositories (no backports or source compiled). vlad
