I had the same thing happen to me once. I think I had some diagnostics in the FileLog, but they weren't useful. I know, you said you restarted everything - you _did_ restart the vlserver, right? Before you restarted the fileserver? Maybe if you shut down the fileserver, then do a "vos changeaddr address -remove", then start it up again?
