Well, the one where it's declared is going to be right, but I understand
the problem; You could try changing the one in osi_machdep.h to
extern DECLARE_MUTEX(afs_global_lock);
or if you have newer than 2.6.16,
extern DEFINE_MUTEX(afs_global_lock);
