Its not that the RO-volumes don't get attached.  Its whatever volume
is loaded second (RO or RW) that doesn't get attached.

The other problem that you are seeing I believe is a side effect
because during the move the Volume Group exists in two different
partitions and the link table which is global ends up a bit confused.
Removing the RO and then recreating it on the same partition as the
RW should make things alright.
