That depends on your afs version.  Any of the 1.3, 1.4, ... clients
and servers can handle large tickets up to 14,000 bytes.

Of course, you can apply the patch to Windows 2003 that allows you
to disable the transmission of authorization data anyway.  It will
make things a bit more efficient because AFS is just going to ignore
the authorization data provided by Active Directory.
