Hello -- We've just installed a Solaris 10 ( Generic_118833-24 ) fileserver, running the OpenAFS 1.4.2 binaries from www.openafs.org.
When a "vos backup <volume>" is in process on any volume on the fileserver, any other vos command against that fileserver (e.g., vos listpart fileserver) hangs until the vos backup completes, at which point any other hung vos commands immediately complete. The "vos backup" command is always accompanied by an error like this in Volserlog : Wed Feb 28 14:57:56 2007 VAttachVolume: Failed to open \ /vicepb/V0537238231.vol (errno 2) ( AFS errno=2 is "A file or directory in the path name does not exist. ) Anyone have an idea of what is happening here ? Thanks for any help. ___________ David Perel IST University Computing Systems New Jersey Institute of Technology [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-info mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-info
