Hello friends
Sorry by delay. Ok, we will try to set up a new AFS Cell and Kerberos db
on the new server. Then we will move our disks array to the new server.
I think that the best solution is make backup of the afs volumes on an
auxiliary disks and move them on the new server. At this moment, the
size of our afs volumes is not very great, so this procedure is better
than move the disks array with the data and synchronize them with the
new fileserver.
We would also like to use the old kerberos db. The old server have
installed a ldap db with the department imformation of users,
machines .... and kerberos db in order to control the users password and
afs tikets. We want respectively to maintain the afs fileserver, afs db
server ... and kerberos db, ldap ... funtions distributed in the new
server and in the old server.
thanks
Jose Angel Herrero Velasco
