I need help by the installation of the openafs-1.4.4-src.tar.bz2 on our new
64bit openSUSE 10.2.
The openafs was build and installed in /opt/openafs (./configure
--prefix=/opt/openafs )
Trying to use the installation procedure for client and server described in
the OpenAFS Documentation >Getting Started on Linux Systems was not helpful in
my case because I have not any "AFS CD-ROM for Linux" ?!
To resume:
under /opt/openafs the following directories was created:
bin/
include/
lib/
libexec/
man/
sbin/
(I think our running AFS server is an older version and use the "Transarc
mode" path)
But now I need help to finalize the installation to start the client.
