klog problems to kaserver are not service related. Restarting the service will have no impact.
There isn't any debug log in afscreds.exe. You will have to use a network monitor to see where the packets are being sent. More likely than not though, the CellServDB data is incorrect.
Hostnames are used in preference to IP addresses in the CellServDB. If the host names give the wrong addresses in a DNS lookup, you lose.
