Error 56 means that the Kerberos v4 protocol built into the AFS client is being used instead of KFW's Kerberos v5. That happens when a compatible version of the Kerberos v5 libraries cannot be found or loaded. Jeffrey Altman Secure Endpoints Inc. Jan wrote:
