I downloaded the latest repo file, and installed that with
rpm -U openafs-repository-1.4.8-1.noarch.rpm
Then, cleaned out the yum caches with
yum clean all
Now, when I try to do a
yum update
it downloads kmod-openafs-1.4.8-1.1.2.6.26.6_49.fc8.i686.rpm,
openafs-1.4.8-fc8.1.1.fc8.i386.rpm, and openafs-client-1.4.8-fc8.1.1.i386.rpm,
but then fails with this error:
Transaction Check Error:
file /lib/modules/2.6.26.6-49.fc8/extra/openafs/openafs.ko from install of
kmod-openafs-1.4.8-1.1.2.6.26.6_49.fc8.i686 conflicts with file from package
kmod-openafs-1.4.7-1.3.2.6.26.6_49.fc8.i686
