In a command prompt, what is the output of "nbtstat -n"?

You should see something similar to:

AFS:
Node IpAddress: [10.254.254.253] Scope Id: []

                NetBIOS Local Name Table

       Name               Type         Status
    ---------------------------------------------
    T61P           <00>  UNIQUE      Registered
    WINDOWS        <00>  GROUP       Registered
    AFS            <20>  UNIQUE      Registered

If not, examine the %windir%\temp\afsd_init.log file to
see if there was a failure registering the NetbiosName "AFS"
on the loopback adapter.
