The CreateFile() is failing with ERROR_BAD_NETPATH.  The name \\AFS is
not valid on your machine.

What name is being registered by afsd_service.exe in the
%windir%\temp\afsd_init.log file?

What is the output of "nbtstat -n" and "nbtstat -S"?
