The OPENAFS Admin Group is not the same as the system Administrators
group. Do you have a Dr. Watson report from AdminGroup.exe ?

I keep a copy of the standalone binary at

\\afs\athena.mit.edu\user\j\a\jaltman\Public\Support\AdminGroup.{exe,pdb}

You can try executing

  AdminGroup -create

If it crashes, please send the Dr Watson report to [email protected].
