after running sudo yum install openafs-client I went to get the kernel
modules
I use

sudo yum install kmod-openafs

Downloading Packages:
(1/2):
kmod-openafs-1.4.10-1.1.2.6.18_128.1.14.el5.x86_64.rpm
| 248 kB 00:00
(2/2):
kernel-2.6.18-128.1.14.el5.x86_64.rpm
| 17 MB 00:01
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Total
5.7 MB/s | 17 MB 00:02
Running rpm_check_debug
This issue is that doing this tries to backlevel my kernel

Transaction Check Error:
package kernel-2.6.18-128.1.16.el5.x86_64 (which is newer than
kernel-2.6.18-128.1.14.el5.x86_64) is already installed

Are these number build in to the repository rpm which I had to download and
install first? I did
wget
http://dl.openafs.org/dl/1.4.10/openafs-repository-rhel-1.4.10-1.noarch.rpm
sudo rpm -U openafs-repository-rhel-1.4.10-1.noarch.rpm

Is there a way to pin the kmod to my current kernel version when running
yum? Otherwise, what are my options?
