Just as another data point, when I try to su from a local account, I experience no delay but /var/log/debug gives exactly the same output.
And I'm still getting: X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication. xhost: unable to open display "localhost:10.0" only for the case of attempting su from an AFS account, not from a local account. thanks, eric --- On Thu, 3/18/10, Stephen Quinney <[email protected]> wrote: > From: Stephen Quinney <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [OpenAFS] significant delay for afs user to login as root via su > To: [email protected] > Cc: "Russ Allbery" <[email protected]>, "Simon Wilkinson" > <[email protected]>, [email protected] > Date: Thursday, March 18, 2010, 6:35 AM > On Wed, Mar 17, 2010 at 9:25 > PM, <[email protected]> > wrote: > > Well, there's nothing in /var/log/messages > either.
