Hello, a "vos release" issued from my Mac (OpenAFS 1.5.78) always ends up doing a lengthy, full release, whereas a normal 1.4.12 vos under RHEL5 manages to do quick incrementals. Is this a known incompatibility? Our servers are all 1.4.11-12.
Here's what the mac says: This is a complete release of volume 537055840 Cloning RW volume 537055840 to temporary RO... done Getting status of RW volume 537055840... done Ending cloning transaction on RW volume 537055840... done Starting transaction on cloned volume 537055841... done Deleting extant RO_DONTUSE site on afsdb3.cern.ch... done Creating new volume 537055841 on replication site afsdb3.cern.ch: done Starting ForwardMulti from 537055841 to 537055841 on afsdb3.cern.ch (full release).
