Dear Derrick,
I was trying to solve the problem of having all our afs
 freeze. You can not do
 ls /afs/hep.man.ac.uk/u
                                   /g
                                   /d

I had to rest the cash size in all of the clients machine
 fs setca 1
 fs setca 0

then we gone back to normal where we could access our
files and directories.

 Thanks, Sabah.
