Dear openafs&jaltman,
Hello,I have some questions looking forward to your replay
1. Why is the AFS client always no respones?

No responses to which requests?   Can you provide an example?

2.The client installed win7 OS and AFS,why the mang klogs process takes about 100percent of CPU cause system down?

You are probably referring the to the thundering herd problem that was fixed in 1.7.6.

3. How to set up token use time, whether expired automatic without use in a period?

The token expires when its valid lifetime is over.  The valid lifetime is set by the Kerberos KDC to be the smaller of the requested time from the client or the maximum valid lifetime configured in the KDC database.

4. Clients have a file synchronized to the server, how to determine the file synchronous completion time?

AFS does not measure this for you.

5. Use the command afs_config display AFS Client Configuration, set up server preferences add ip address,
why the ip address disappear automatically after a period of time?

The AFS Client Configuration tool is deprecated because it is out of date and unreliable.  That is why it is not installed by default.  There is no replacement.  This is documented in the OpenAFS for Windows Release Notes

  Start Menu->Programs->OpenAFS->Documentation

Server preferences configured by afs_config are identical to server preferences configured by "fs setserverprefs".

  http://docs.openafs.org/Reference/1/fs_setserverprefs.html

They are only valid until the afsd_service halts.

6. If the ip address set up wrong ,how to delete or modify?

There is no method to remove a server preference.
7. How to change the cache files size on the 1.7 version AFS?

See the "CacheSize" registry parameter in Appendix A of the Release Notes.
