At our site we've been beta testing some compute resources which are available in the cloud - as part of that we're using/testing our normal afs client in the cloud - which is approximately 43 ms away from our AFS servers.
Does anyone have client/server tuning tips which might help improve throughput/performance of OpenAFS due to the high latency? We have a 10 Gb network to the cloud but am seeing about 1 MB/sec uncached read/write performance from clients in the cloud. Any thoughts/recommendations welcome!
