This is happening because there isn't a kmod available for your kernel. yum is
trying to install
kmod-openafs.x86_64 0:1.4.12-1.1.2.6.18_194.26.1.el5 (a module for the
2.6.18-194.26 kernel) and so requires that you have that kernel on your system.

Stephen Quinney is now looking after the RPM build system that feeds
dl.openafs.org, but I'm pretty sure that we're no longer building 1.4.12
modules, which probably explains why you can't find them. Have you considered
upgrading? 1.4.12 is very old.

Cheers,

Simon.
