thanks for testing 1.6.6pre1 before it's even announced!
Could you give us more details about the client platform, cache configuration
and backing filesystem, and how you reproduce this crash?
Are you sure you can't provoke this problem on 1.6.5.1, 1.6.5 or 1.6.3?
