Thanks for the pointers Harald.
I synced and put online the volumes, run salvage, and now I’m restoring the
volume from a backup one. However, it’s been several hours and I don’t know if
vos restore works.
Is it possible to inspect vos while working?

Yes, I have all my volumes online (wins and mail are not used now), except for
the html.milicchio one.
$ vos listvol aux|grep milicchio
html.milicchio.backup 536871915 BK 2401123 K On-line
mail.milicchio 536871916 RW 2 K Off-line

Yes, I have more than 100 volumes with home dirs offline.

Right now I am unable to go into the server room. Tomorrow I’ll check the logs
(no ssh on db servers policy).

No media unfortunatelt, I just have backup volumes. But as I said, vos restore
is running since 3.30pm~, I think it’s stuck, even though the volume is several
GB. I will let the job run all the night.

The server and vldb seem to be out of sync (although I synced them!). As you
suggested before, I don’t have the volume anymore.
$ vos listvldb html.milicchio

First thing tomorrow I will check the log files.
If the restore fails or is still stuck tomorrow, should I try just mounting the
backup volume and zap all references of html.milicchio? That would mean also
losing 100++ volumes…
Well, I hope to restore my data, any hint is appreciated :)
Cheers,
