Greetings, I would like to know what the general consensus is on performing a manual run of "bos salvage" with DAFS. Do other OpenAFS DAFS users out there see it necessary?
I read that it is not necessary to do a "bos salvage" with DAFS, but that it should be done if you suspect a bug or corruption. I personally haven't noticed any bugs or corruption, but wondered if it would just be good practice to have "bos salvage" run on a cron job every so often to ensure nothing is missed; and if anyone else out there has been doing just that.
