Dear OpenAFS support team, I'm a OpenAFS user. I have encountered following error: "The AFS client was unable to obtain tokens as <user name> in cell <cell name>. Error: 11862781 (AFS service may not have started)" when my laptop boots and initial Windows 7 starts ups process was made without access to the internet. This error is still keeps up even though internet was activated after Windows 7 initial start ups. I can logon to AFS when my laptop boots with switched on LAN cable. In the other words if laptop has access to internet during Windows 7 boots process and during initial Windows 7 starts ups.
I have restarted OpenAFS and well as NetBIOS services, but this did not help. I also tried to setup OpenAFS service startup with Delay, but this setting did not work. My understanding of the my error is that some process or service need to have access for the internet at the Windows initial startups to work properly. I read on forums that this error also may be caused by sequence of services activations. Please support my question. Thanks, Damian
