I am excited and pleased to announce the release of the Corosync Cluster Engine 0.90 as well as a version of openais which plugs in on top of the Corosync Cluster Engine.
This effort will allow us to multiply our development efforts and focus our collective development on features we deem most important. The Corosync Cluster Engine retains the confdb, evs, cpg, and cfg apis. The remaining SA Forum APIs exist in the openais source package. The documentation at this point is a little sparse but essentially openais users must now set an environment variable: balance# export COROSYNC_DEFAULT_CONFIG_IFACE=openaisparser balance# /usr/sbin/corosync This will run the corosync cluster engine using a plugin which instructs the Corosync Cluster Engine to load the SA Forum services. If SA Forum services are not desired, simply run the corosync cluster engine daemon (/usr/sbin/corosync). I would like to send a big thank you to the many people that have contributed to this release and especially the folks at Ottawa Linux Symposium for forcing our collective community to author a document describing the systems we have put into practice. If you happen to be at OLS this week, please feel free to attend my talk at 3:00 PM Thursday. In the near future, a specific wiki for corosync will be made available for developers to participate. The files are immediately available for download at http://www.openais.org Regards -steve _______________________________________________ Openais mailing list [email protected] https://lists.linux-foundation.org/mailman/listinfo/openais
