Hello Steve, We are still using the version 0.80.3 with minor patches on top of that provided by you. We are only using event service from the openais.
Is it really needed to move to this new version(0.80.4)? Does it mean that only this new version on white tank will be supported going forward? Regards Ramesh -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Steven Dake Sent: Wednesday, January 28, 2009 1:30 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Openais] [announce release] OpenAIS 0.80.4 stable released! I am pleased to announce the immediate availability of the stable release of openais 0.80.4. This new version has 76 patches that fix defects found through nearly three years of field deployment of openais 0.80.3. I would like to spend a few moments to acknowledge the significance of the various open source contributors, commercial companies, and deployment sites that have worked so hard to make openais the first choice in cluster infrastructure and SA Forum APIs. It is through all of your hard work that we have achieved such great success! The source code for the software is available via our community website at: http://www.openais.org As we move forward, there will be one more release of the whitetank branch targeted for March 15, 2009 which will address some final known issues in the IPC system as well as add a few minor features required of people that use our infrastructure. Those patches will shortly be available in the repository. Finally this marks an end to any development in the whitetank branch. In the future, all development will take place in the trunk as part of the previously split corosync and openais trees. I know I can count on the many contributors to ensure those software releases are of the same high level of quality as the current openais 0.80.4.
