Wojtek,

Lets add that item to the roadmap as further diagnostic capabilities for
1.2 and really try to get the design right.  Once we add APIs we can't
change them in a X release.  I am not certain I am sold this is a good
idea because the receiver needs a binary decoder, but a cpgdumper may be
interesting for some people.
